i read somewhere that if u spray a rose with hairspray that it will better hold the color and shape. is theis true? do u need a certan kind or brand? i need them to mostly hold the color.

NO! Hair spray kills the plants because of the toxic chemicals located in them. Also, aerosol hair spray is one of the leading causes of global warming, so I recommend you don't even contribute to buying such products.
Reply:Enough of the global warming already, give me a break! CFC's haven't been in aerosols for over a decade.
You can buy a can of Spray polyurethane at a hardware store or anywhere they sell paints. Coat the flowers with many very light coats, letting it dry between coats [about 5 minutes if the coats are thin.]
