Has anyone used the silicone moulds to make roses with fondant. I would love to know the address of the roses that retail in the cake store that come from the Phillipines!
Making roses for cake decorating?
your best resource if you dont know where to find the silicone mold needed is search it in ebay; i bought mine there it was product of Argentina.
although yes there are more details in using the molds, u still can make fondant roses without the mold its pretty easy
divide the fondant into small-medium size balls, flat each with a spoon; when you get as much as petals you need it, roll another small-tiny fondant for middle part of the rose and "glue" the petals to it resembling a rose.
if you go to youtube.com there are quite a few videos on how to make fondant roses without the molds, which is easy and cheaper
:)
