Whats a good way to get rid of powdery mildew on roses?

And does anyone know of any homemade solutions?

Whats a good way to get rid of powdery mildew on roses?
Mix 1 Teaspoon of dish soap in a quart spray bottle and spray them in the early morning. Or you can just remove each leaf and new leaves will grow. But the soapy water works good.
Reply:Spray them with a sulfur spray found at any garden center. Also applying high nitrogen fertilizer will help them regrow lost leaves although mildew will spread to new growth if untreated.
Reply:Also only water in the mornings so the plants can dry off. Prune out the centers of the plants to allow air flow in. If all else fails shovel prune them and get some David Austin and Old Garden roses. They dont get the problems the modern roses do.
