What room temperature do you keep fresh cut roses in to make them last for the longest time possible?

this is for my wedding on friday night. I already bought them and cut them and put them in water like the directions said but I don't know how cold to keep the room that they will be in. Thank you for your help.

I noticed the florists keep them in a refrigerator, so 50-56 degrees F. is probably adequate. I think you bought them too early though, most people wait until the day of the wedding.
Reply:Put them in the refrigerator. I know that that slows down the aging process but don't know if they will keep till friday or not. It depends on how far along into the preocess they are. You can also drop an aspirin into the bottom of the vase to help preserve them as well in the refrigerator.
Reply:you really should have waited, but roses have to be kept refrigerated for the longest longevity. Not frozen, but cold
