they look so gross! how do i get rid of them and what are they?
What are the little greenish white bugs on my roses?
they are aphids and you can get spray at walmart for them specifically or soap and water will do the job to if mixed and sprayed, totally harmless
Reply:They a aphids. They stick on your rose and suck the sap. They are asexual so they can reproduce without mating. They can multiply on an exponential curve. 1 spawns 2 and then 2 spawns 4 and then 4 spawns 8 and so forth. Think of the infestation. Ladybugs love to munch on them, so go get some ladybugs.
Reply:Most likely aphids. Is there a sticky residue too ? They have sprays you can buy to get rid of them. They eat new leaves and flower buds. And yes they are gross !
Reply:they're called aphids. Lady bugs eat them, or you can buy insecticide.
Reply:Probably aphids. Go to your local greenhouse or garden centre for a product.
Reply:Depends where you live,..I would say that they are aphids. You can keep them at bay by planting garlic around the base of the plant. Also there are some excellent organic sprays that you can use. Also, crushed garlic in warm soapy water works wonders for removing them. Good luck! :)
Reply:They may be aphids.Introduce some lady bugs, they will eat them all, cause ladies love them
Reply:Aphids. Go to Home Depot and nuke em quick cuz they reproduce like nobody's business.

I think you can get rid of them by getting ladybirds (which will eat them) or else spraying for bugs. I think there are also certain home remedies you can spray onto the plants which will repel them.
Reply:use a mixture of simple green and water and spray onto the rose bushes, then rinse it off. They are aphids.
