What is the best way of getting rid of aphids in roses and quaking aspen trees?
Mix water with dishdetergent....and spray away,it really works!Good luck!
Reply:After using the insecticidal soap, spray with a weak sugar water solution. This mimics the scent of the aphids, and will attract ladybugs which are nothing more than aphid eating machines. Wait a few days after the soap to apply the sugar water.
Reply:For roses you can prevent aphids from showing up by using Rose Care, a product with a systemic insectcide built in, if you just have a couple of plants, use insecticidal soap spray, this will aslo work on your Aspen if you have enough water pressure to reach all parts of the tree.
Reply:first hose them off with water then spary with water and dish soap.
