I received 3 plants for Mother's Day. I have never been able to keep these for more than a month. Please help: all hints welcome.
How do I take care of miniature roses? What kind of soil %26amp; fertilizer?
plant them outside and treat them like any other rose plant... I have one that's 18 yrs old now that still gives me perfect miniature pink roses!.... no rose is meant to live inside.. not enuff sunlight... the sooner they can go outside, the better!.... they're very hardy, too... if you're in a cold area, just pile mulch around them after they lose their leaves.....
Reply:Plant them outside.
Just like other roses, most miniature roses need a great deal of sunlight and water. While there are some shade tolerant varieties, most need five to six hours of sunlight per day.
