I have had two rose bushes that have completley quit growing. The foilage turned brown and fell of and part of the stems are turning a purple color. I cut part of the big stem on the bottom of the bush and a insect came out of a hole. Unfortunately I have not sprayed them with a insecticide this year till now. Will they recover?
How do I get rid of bore bugs on my roses?
I use a systemic insecticide such As Ortho brand Rose and flower care. The poison (yuk) is uptaken thru the roots and when these luttle boring b.astar.ds stard to chomp, it's bye bye buggy.
Use sparingly as it is indeed a poison
