First, you need to remove and dispose of all of the infected leaves. Then, you need to get a fungicide from your local garden center, or Home Depot or Lowes. The fungicides should be in the same area as fertilizers and insecticides. There are lots of choices, I have used several different types with success. Make sure to read the back of the label, to make sure it will treat black spot.

If you treat them soon, and repeat treatments as necessary, your roses should recover.

(The first answerer has a good idea, but it's actually called "Sevin", and it's not a fungicide, but an insecticide, so it won't work.)

Good luck!
Reply:Make a solution of baking soda %26amp; water, and spray the plant all over.
Reply:Try the powder called "Seven" on your roses.
Reply:u can't kill them

take the affected leaves off, and pick up any leaves off the ground. Keep doing this repeatedly. Get a product for roses from Bayer that treats fungi from inside the plant. sprinkle this around base of rose, and work into soil. Keep cutting off black spot leaves until you prune roses next winter. By then the Bayer will have kicked in and next year, you will have beautiful roses, leaves and all.
Reply:use any kind of funguscide on the effected parts now, go get u some bayeradvanced all in one rose care for future attacks! i wouldn't have planted any roses this year if i'd not discovered this stuff! it's great and it's systematic......attacks the stuff from the inside out... so it never harms ur roses again! oh by the way, black spot will never officially "kill" a plant or in this case, a rose bush... it just makes it look really bad! u can also gently pull on the effected leaves to get rid of em.... they should come off with the slightest pull! "DO NOT LEAVE THE EFFECTED LEAVES ANYWHERE NEAR THE ROSE BUSH!" u can find this stuff at ur local lowes or walmart!! good stuff!
