How many kinds of roses are available on the earth?
There will never be an accurate count of the varieties of roses available----they number in the thousands and many of the old or antique roses are difficult to locate---roses belong to the apple family known as Malus. However, if you are interested in viewing a large number you can check with Jackson %26amp; Perkins, Star Roses, or American Roses. Good Luck!
Reply:Read the article from the first link below to get a list of different breeds of roses in addition of different colors. There are many.

On colors though, you forgot to mention yellow as in "The Yellow Rose of Texas" . See the second link.
Reply:Roses can be classified in several categories:

- Species Roses

- Old European Garden Roses

- Hardy Repeat-blooming Old Roses

- Modern Roses

- Shrub Roses
