Does it mean anything if a guy gives you roses with thorns?

I just heard something silly from a friend. She says if a guy gives you flowers with thorns, it means something bad will happen with the relationship (if you're a couple) or if you accept the guy as your boyfriend nothing good will happen. She says it's better the guy gives roses with the thorns cut. I think it's silly... but what do you think?

torns are part of the roses like problems are part of a relationship....i dont htink it has anything to do with that...got some advise for you...keep the torns of the roses he gives you and when time comes that your bf did something bad for you or hurt you emotionally, use that torn to pinch him.....lol...just kidding Happy Valentine...

Reply:no. i don't know about you, but the thought of roses are enough for me. you and i both know they have thorns and to watch out for them. now if he starts to attack you with the roses, thats a bad sign. haha. but there is nothing wrong with thorns. in fact, if the rose has thorns and they are striped it can cause the rose to die faster. in my opinion thorns are good cause that means he will protect you. hince the reason roses have thorns. so they can be messed with haha.
Reply:Roses with thorns means he didn't buy them from a florist but probably just picked them himself...which means he either forgot about the occasion and needed to improv or he couldn't afford roses.
