Where can I find and/or buy blue roses?

Not online, because it's a real inconvenience to me, but any retail store is fine.

Where can I find and/or buy blue roses?
for a truly blue rose on a plant you will have to take a trip into the future because they are not commercially available yet

there are silvery (Sterling)

and lavender roses(Lavender Simplicity)

but no true blue roses yet

check at walmart, lowes, home depot, big K, target and sometimes grocery stores will have bare root roses this time of year.

and florists and garden centers have them too
Reply:To the best of my knowledge there is no rose that is blue by nature. You would have to either color a white rose using the food color method or there is a spray paint that florists use that might work. They use the paint to color Poinsettias at Christmas. I would think they could use it on roses, too. You'd have to ask a florist about it.
Reply:Do you have, or can you borrow, any gardening catalogs. Jackson and Perkins is a good one for roses. You should be able to find blue roses in them and they will ship them at the right time for planting in your area.
Reply:Are you looking for blue roses to plant or to buy as cut flowers? If it's the cut flowers you're after, any florist worth their weight in flower petals will be able to spray some for you with floral spray.
Reply:You could try buying white roses then putting them in a vase full of water dyed blue (food dye) and wait for the roses to take up the water (can't think of the proper name for that process). Takes a day or so I think.

The link gives better details.
