How do you dry red roses?

There are a number of ways:



Hang them up side down in a dry area



Layer them in sand or cornmeal and check every now and then



Once they are dry,clip the stem off get some thin wire, push the wire from bottom up into the rose, make a hook and gently pull down.

With the wire that is left use florist tape to wrap around it for the stem



You can do this with most flowers.

I have always like the cornmeal method

Reply:The quickest and most effective way is to put them in the microwave for about 6 minutes -uncovered.

Reply:You can just leave them anywhere to dry themselves over time... just keep them away from water or moisture as they can get mouldy. You can leave them in the sun if you want, but this is not necessary.

Reply:leave them then there dry out in the sun with no water but if it rains put them under a lamp inside then evatournely there dry up
Reply:I used to tie them together and then hang them upside down. This seemed to work really well.
