How do I make popurri from roses that were bought from the store?

The drying process usually takes up to 2 weeks in general. There are two processes for drying flowers and herbs. * Keep in a warm dark place that has good air circulation

Store your "New" potpourri in airtight containers or plastic bags. Store in a cool dark place until needed.

To make the potpourri you basically need four main ingredients.

Flowers %26amp; leaves

Essential oils

Spices and Herbs

Fixative.

and then you can probably get the recipe (or whatever you would call it) to prepare it or whatever online!

but basically to sum it up you are going to have to dry your flowers out and then put oils and things in it !!

As a constant purchaser of flowers, I usually take the petals off of the roses before they brown and place them in an open bowl lined with paper towel. Allow them to completely dry out and then place them in a decorative bowl. You can add a couple of drops of Rose fragrant oil to give them that extra kick. I usually mix mine with Eucalyptus that has also been dried.
