I talked the lady at a neighborhood bakery into teaching me how one day. Took about 20 minutes. Just had to promise I wouldn't stop buying all my bread and doughnuts from there if she taught me her secrets.
How long do you think it would take me to learn how to make frosting roses?
It just takes a lot of practice. I do mine on a stick and not the nail. It took me a while to get them both down. How long do you have to learn?
Reply:not long if you get the right equipment and practice for a while it only took me a couple tries before i made good ones.. and you will continue to improve the more you do it. practice on wax paper before trying it on cake ..

Reply:Not to long start practicing now
Reply:It took me about 20 minutes to learn and 1/2 of the semester to get good enough to put them on cakes. It takes a lot of practice to get them right. You can do 1/2 roses in about 10 minutes
Reply:With the right tools/ equipment, about 20 minutes.
Reply:an hour, with a bit of practice. thats all it takes.
Reply:You would probably know how to do it right after someone shows you how, it would just take LOTS of practice to get good, they are hard!
Reply:It took me about an hour....depends on how fast you learn and how steady your hand is...
