How many books are there in The English Roses series? from Madonna!?

I wanted to buy my 10yr old daughter the whole collection... so do you recommend it? What other books are good for her to read. She is in 5th grade and will be going to Junior High -Middle School next year. I really want to get her books she will love %26amp; want to read. thanks!

There are six books in the series.



I work in an elementary library. Only about 1/2 of them are "loved" by the kids. The other three are rather "odd" and not as good as the other ones. But it would be a nice set of books to have.

Reply:My daughter is in 6th grade and last yr really enjoyed the Shadow Children Series by Margaret Haddix. It has 7 books in it I think. If she hasnt read the Little House on the Praire books by Laura Ingalls Wilder I suggest those too as I read them in 5/6th grade and loved them.
