I received 12 beautiful red roses for my 60th birthday, What is the best way to dry them?

Hang them upside down (loosely together) and spray them with cheap hairspray. (The good stuff won't stiffen them up properly). Keep them in a dry dark room. Warm, not too cold. Takes about two weeks. (Silica Gel does work well, too)

I personally like the silica gel it works great.



Get a can at any hobby store and bury them in a tub. remove in 7 - 10 days and arrange in a vase. They will last forever.



You can also hang them upside down to dry.
