What is the price of four roses whiskey,it was discontinued about fifty years ago.?
Four Roses bourbon was not discontinued. It was acquired by the Seagram's company (in the 70s I believe) and they decided only to distribute it internationally. However, the Four Roses distillery in Versailles, KY continued running through the 80s and 90s.
Kirin, the big Japanese alcoholic beverage conglomerate, ended up buying Four Roses from Seagrams. About 5 years ago they decided to start distributing in the U.S. again.
Now you can get the traditional Four Roses Yellow Label bourbon in the U.S., but it is not in every state yet. It's about $22.
They have even released a Four Roses Small Batch and Four Roses Single Barrel which are very good. They are around $33 and $42 respectively, I think.
Reply:Unfortunately unless you can find a collector... Not much different than a bottle of new Four Roses Whiskey. Liquor, unlike wine and beer generally doesn't gain value with age.
