Yes-miniature roses will grow quite happily indoors but you will need to position them where there is good air circulation otherwise they will be prone to mildew and/or blackspot.
Any roses grown under glass will flower earlier and have stems which will have longer intervals between buds.
Roses are hungry plants and if you are growing indoors you will need to re-pot every year because they will quickly exhaust the nutrients in the soil.
Your planting mix should replicate what you would have in your outside bed-a good compost into which you have put some organic matter and add to this a small handful of fertilizer at the beginning of spring and also mid summer.
make sure your pot drains well as roses cannot stand to be waterlogged.
There is a huge range of indoor flowering plants ranging from cacti to begonias to bougainvillea -depending on space and temperature and light.
The best advice is to purchase a small handbook on indoor plants and select from that and from what is currently available from your local garden centre.Autumn planted bulbs are a great idea for pots giving you early spring color in the house when little is flowering in the garden
Can you grow miniature roses indoors? What about other plants not greenery?
Yes, but be sure they get lots of sunlight. Also my geraniums are growing nicely inside this winter but doubt they will produce many flowers. Hibiscus bloom inside but the flowers are not as large.
Most flowering plants like those bees! Shamrocks have small flowers and are an indoor plant.
