I prefer a home remedy and have found a few online but am not sure what to try. I also heard that Rose Flora is a good organic choice. Any comments/suggestions?
Good remedy for blackspot on roses?
Prevention is better than cure, have a healthy plant and you will find that they wont get blackspot. Also, try to buy only disease resistant roses so they have less problems. However, since you have black spot, try to remove to affected leaves and destroy them, don't just put them on the ground under the rose. Spray with an organic based spray, there are a couple available, I use one with pyrethrum and citronella in it. Spray all over the bush and make sure you get under the leaves. Then spray again in a week or two. If needed, give your rose a small prune. When your rose is healthy again, make sure you give it some sulphate of potash, all flowering and fruiting plants love that.
