When is it too late to dry out roses?

i just recieved some roses today and im wanting to keep them in water but i do want to dry them out when is it too late to dry them out and how long do i need to keep them in the water?? do i need to take them out in a couple of days or what

When is it too late to dry out roses?
as soon as they START to droop ( if you catch them early you will preserve them in mint condition, NO BENDS), tie them with wire, string, whatever, and hang them upside down untill they are fully dry, and you can keep them forever upside down(collecting less dust) or re-use them in a number of other uses.
