How can i keep roses living longer?

If you mean cut roses, try a couple of tablespoons of sugar in the vase you have them in. If they were cut more than an hour or so ago, clip the tip of the stem about 1/2 inch. Don't keep them in direct sunlight or high temperatures.

How can i keep roses living longer?
if your talking about frsh cut roses, then you have to cut the stems on the diagonal under running water, evry couple of days after recieving them. A little bit of suger helps in the water
Reply:Dump some 7 up softdrink (with sugar) in with them.
Reply:Don't cut them.
Reply:Don't cut them off of the bush. Once you cut them, they are no longer living. They have the appearance of life but are not alive.
Reply:if they are cut flowers, you can add an aspirin or two to the water, they will make the flowers live longer...........
Reply:cut stems at an angle use a cheap lemonade quarter fill vase and keep topping up as it goes down. Works wonders on all flowers opens buds to flower. I am not mad my wife does it to all her flowers.
