What is up with a florist who sends out Valentine's Day roses that begin to wilt the next day?

I have heard that because the roses did not open, but instead wilted, that they were frozen. Is there such a thing as frozen flowers? Makes sense.( Black around the edge of the petal too!)

Hm..Very odd. If they were frozen or put in a freezer then of course they are going to wilt. Maybe the florist didn't check the temp.

I would complain. I am a florist and I know way better then that.
Reply:My mother in law has called a florist before when flowers were given to her that wilted soon after. Even though she didn't pay for them, she knew that the person who sent them had paid a lot for them, and wanted to get the value out of them. They brought her another arrangement :)

I think that sometimes the weather conditions when you are delivering flowers might cause them to get too cold, especially on a busy day like Valentines when florists are working from 4 am to midnight trying to get them all delivered.

But sometimes mistakes happen, and you should let them know so they can fix them in the future.
Reply:but the price was right.
