How much epsom salts can I give roses?

i, too, use half a cup to a gallon of water...twice a season, just like above.....gonna have to try the rest of HIS recipe, tho!!...

How much epsom salts can I give roses?
I would not give them straight epsom salts (magnesium sulphate). Try this recipe...works great on my roses! 1/2 cup epsom salts, 1/2 cup ammonia, and a can of beer. Add to 2 gallons of water and feed to the roses, once in the spring, and once when they begin to bloom. I give them about a cup of this mixture each. Good luck!
