MTA won't clean the pee smell from the subway, should they come up with something to make it smell like roses?

The Roger Toussant from the Transit Workers Union and Lawrence G. Reuter, President of the NY MTA refuse to have their people clean the odor of poop %26amp; pee left by people in the NY subway system.

If they are unwilling to do that, should they have their scientists come up with something that people would eat to make their poop %26amp; pee smell like Roses?

I can see where Roger Toussaint's union would feel they aren't paid enough to clean it, and the ACLU would no doubt object to having the cons on Rikers Island do it. Bad enough cleaning cats' litter boxes! Your idea is certainly amusing, and would keep food scientists busy on research for a decade or more. But the food additive they develop would undoubtedly have Jeremy Rifkin going ballistic with claims of its being unhealthy.
