My roses look like they have elmers glue on them?

As I was planting my roses, one looks as if there is a thin sheen of elmers glue on the parts that have been trimmed. Any idea? There is no smell at all and doesnt look like a fungus.

It could be Elmers Glue but not to worry. If the rose bush was trimmed then they put a sealer on it and Elmers Glue is just one of the many sealers that we use. It will be ok.
Reply:Not to worry. It's probably a fungicide applied to the open cut.
